Fourteen years ago, Florence was rescued from a cardboard box and found her way to Sharon, her perfect match. Through thick and thin, they’ve been inseparable—Florence even earned the title of protector, thwarting two home invasions with her mighty bark! 

But as Florence aged, she stopped eating. Fearing the worst, Sharon took her to the vet, only to learn that what Florence really needed was urgent—and unaffordable—dental care. That’s when The Animal Foundation, with help from a Grey Muzzle grant, stepped in to make sure Florence got the care she needed to relieve her pain and keep living her best life.

Now, with her painful teeth removed, Florence is back to feeling like a puppy again—chewing on soft toys and savoring every meal. “You gave my best friend a new lease on life,” Sharon shared. “I just can’t believe the generosity.”
