About Grey Muzzle
The Grey Muzzle Organization saves and improves the lives of at-risk senior dogs by providing funding and resources to animal shelters, rescue organizations, and other nonprofit groups nationwide. Our vision is a world where every senior dog thrives, and no old dog dies alone and afraid.
Our Grants
We provide grants annually to support organizations that have or seek to establish a program specifically for senior dogs. In addition, we offer resources (e.g., print materials, webinars, how-to guides) to individuals and organizations interested in helping senior dogs.
In 2023, we awarded $848,000 to 90 shelters and rescue groups for a total of $4.6 million in grant awards since our founding in 2008. This achievement was possible thanks to the generous donations of our supporters. The amount we award each year is entirely dependent on the amount we raise from individual contributors and our corporate partners.
As the largest national nonprofit focused specifically on the well-being of senior dogs, Grey Muzzle offers a unique opportunity to reach a target audience that includes pet guardians of older dogs, veterinarians, and animal welfare organizations.
