Main Line Animal RescueFunded from 2016 to 2017 and 2019 to 2020
Since 1999, Main Line Animal Rescue has rehabilitated some of the most at-risk and neglected animals, especially those that are victims of cruel puppy mills. They have worked tirelessly to help shine a bright light on the deplorable conditions of Pennsylvania’s “puppy mills." Main Line Animal Rescue is more than an adoption center - they work to end the cycle of animal homelessness and improve the treatment of companion animals through innovative care and advocacy. Their programming includes a volunteer-led adoptions program, an in-house veterinary clinic for shelter animals, powerful animal welfare advocacy work, and innovative animal care and enrichment activities. Main Line Animal Rescue helps care for and place over 1,000 dogs and cats every year at its sprawling 60-acre facility in Chester County, Pennsylvania. They are proud to operate under a no-kill philosophy.
A grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization will help Main Line Animal Rescue provide medical care for senior dogs in its care, to keep them healthy and comfortable while they wait for their forever homes. Main Line Animal Rescue’s veterinary clinic provides both preventative and comprehensive veterinary care such as: spay/neuter, vaccinations, blood panels, urinalyses, x-rays, ultrasounds, dentals, orthopedic medications and more. Main Line Animal Rescue offers individualized care for its animals and is committed to providing for their well-being until they find a forever home to enjoy their golden years.
