In line with their mission to improve the welfare of animals and create a more compassionate society, they are launching a program to bring senior dogs to local assisted living facilities so that the numerous benefits of the human/animal bond will improve the quality of life for both as they may each be experiencing isolation, depression, and declining health. After receiving the medical care needed for assisted living visits, senior dogs such as "Answer" will bring as much joy to the residents as they will receive while awaiting their adoption.
