Dogs Deserve Better PiedmontFunded in 2025
Based in Wake and Granville Counties, Dogs Deserve Better Piedmont is dedicated to improving the lives of tethered and neglected dogs in underserved North Carolina communities. We unchain dogs by building kennels or fences, promote spay/neuter, provide vital supplies, and offer education and compassionate support to pet families in need.
This Grey Muzzle grant helps us bring veterinary care to senior dogs who have gone without it for far too long. Many of the seniors we meet during outreach have never seen a vet or received preventatives. With Grey Muzzle’s support, we can provide urgent medical care, vaccines, wellness visits, and flea/tick prevention—helping seniors stay healthy, happy, and right where they belong: at home with the families who love them.
