How we help:

Funding from Grey Muzzle helps Animal Rescue League of Iowa with their Golden Paw Hospice Program, which provides in-home care for animals diagnosed with a terminal illness, but are free from suffering and continue to enjoy quality of life.

The hospice program provides medical care as approved by ARL’s veterinary staff, support for the foster home caring for the hospice pet, as well as one-on-one training and detailed information about the hospice pet’s care, personality, medical needs, and restrictions. These animals can live out their “golden” weeks, months, or years with dignity and quality care in a loving home.
