    The Street Dog Coalition
    Funded in 2023

    Location

The Street Dog Coalition provides free medical care and related services to pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Using a One Health approach to street medicine, they care for the lives on both ends of the leash. The primary mode of providing care is recurring street clinics, which began in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2015, and now operate in over 60 cities across the US.

The generous support of The Grey Muzzle Organization will enable The Street Dog Coalition to build organizational capacity and provide medical and emergency care for senior dogs (7+ years old). It will also support Monkey’s Ashes, which allows The Street Dog Coalition to offer euthanasia support when death with dignity is the most humane option.
