Angelo was discovered in the middle of the road in northwest Austin early one morning. The couple who found him could tell that he was gravely injured and needed immediate medical attention.

A local emergency clinic referred the couple to Austin Pets Alive!’s Medical Triage and Wellness Clinic. Angelo was accepted into the Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender (PASS) program, which enables APA! to take in emergency cases and act as a safety net for pets across Texas.

Thanks to Grey Muzzle funding made possible by you, APA! vets were able to immediately perform the surgery needed to mend Angelo’s facial wounds and extract two damaged teeth.

These days, you’ll find Angelo at home with his mother-and-son foster caregivers and their cats and dogs. "He really just wants to be on his blanket sleeping most of the time. He’s just a sweet guy which makes it very easy.” Have room in your home for this easy going guy? Now that he's fully healed, he's looking for his forever home!
