Prince came to Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) from a rural Central Texas shelter back in June 2021. There he had been found as a stray and was constantly overlooked by adopters because of his age and difficulty getting along with other animals. So, the shelter reached out to APA! with the hopes that Prince could find the right adopter to fit his needs in bustling Austin. Prince will need to find a home where he is his adopters’ one-and-only pet and a yard with a high fence to prevent any walk-abouts if he’s ever left alone for too long.
While he’s estimated to be around 9 years old, don’t let that fool you – Prince has lots of energy and a desire to play. He can be quite charming, and loves treats, walks, and affection. Like most distinguished gentleman of advanced years, Prince also appreciates leisurely naps, dinner at 6 p.m. sharp, and snuggles aplenty. He’s been living in a foster home since he arrived at APA!, and we’re hoping some extra shares can help get this handsome Prince the exposure he deserves.
