Mia is a 13-year-old Chihuahua who is adored by her mom. She is a sweet, happy senior girl, but her mom recently became concerned about the condition of Mia's teeth. With the help of her caregiver John (pictured here), Mia's mom brought her to Vets in Vans for care.

Mia was suffering from a severe dental infection and needed treatment as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to a prolonged illness, Mia's mom is on a very tight budget. 

Vets in Vans uses funds from a Grey Muzzle grant to assist pet owners who need a little extra help. They believe that the best place for a pet is with a family who loves them, so their mobile clinic helps remove financial barriers to pet care. 

Mia received the critical dental care she needed, and her mom received the peace of mind that her best friend was once again thriving.
