    At 16 (or maybe 17!), Lola has spent most of her life knowing nothing but love. Rescued as a young pup, she’s been by her mom’s side for well over a decade—enjoying all the cuddles, belly rubs, and treats a senior girl could ask for. But as the years passed, Lola started to slow down, and her mom knew she needed a little extra help to keep her feeling her best.

    That’s where NMDOG stepped in. With support from a Grey Muzzle grant, Lola received a full senior wellness exam, bloodwork, pain relief, and supplements tailored to her golden years. Now, she’s back to moving around the house and yard with a pep in her step—and always with a smile on her face!

    “This was the first and only visit to a vet that Lola actually seemed to enjoy! After her exam, she got a prescription for her arthritis, a new diet, and some supplements, and now she’s moving like she was 10 again!” her mom shared.
