Hope
Hope is one appropriately named dog! The nine-ish stray girl arrived at Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR) in horrible condition. She was emaciated, hairless, and covered in sarcoptic mange. If that weren’t bad enough, she was discovered to be heartworm positive. The poor girl had a long road to recovery, but soon found the perfect “spa” with Golden Angel fosters (now failed fosters!) Bob and Barbara, and help from a Grey Muzzle medical expense grant.
As her fur has grown in, these human angels describe Hope’s wagging tail that never stops, her love for people, and her healthy appetite. Her walks are geared to “stopping to smell the roses,” which is just perfect.
