Chloe

Chloe is a 10 year old Pomeranian who was abandoned, and when taken in by Posh Pets in New York City, she was emaciated and had kennel cough, alopecia (hair loss), decaying teeth, and mammary tumors. Clearly she had been a victim of severe neglect and malnutrition, and when found, she walked in circles as if kept in a cage her whole life.

Chloe spent the first few weeks after her rescue at the vet's office, then she went to live in a foster home until Posh Pets could improve her condition, believing she'd have a long journey to rehabilitation. Amazingly, at her foster home, Chloe did a 100 percent turnaround in just a few weeks, becoming more confident with people as well as gaining health.
