When Boris’s person passed away, his world turned upside down. But thanks to the compassion of Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester and the help of a Grey Muzzle grant, he embarked on a journey to new beginnings. At their veterinary clinic, Boris received the medical care he needed—vaccinations, preventive treatments, and neuter surgery—to prepare him for his next chapter. 

It didn’t take long for the staff to fall in love with this sweet 9-year-old boy, who was always eager to greet people and show off his tricks. Boris quickly became a favorite at the shelter, and even became a television star during the organization’s live Tails of Hope Telethon. Soon enough, a young couple came to meet him. They were drawn to his gentle nature and, after an adoption sleepover, knew he was the one. 

Now, Boris is thriving in his new home, showing just how much joy a senior dog can bring. His new family, who welcomed him despite his arthritis and age, is ready to make him a permanent part of their lives. Happy tails!
