For Benny’s mom, he is everything. Her best friend. Her family. Her entire world. 

But when her assisted living community required Benny to be up to date on his rabies vaccine, she didn’t know where to turn. On a fixed income with no transportation, getting Benny the care he needed felt impossible—until Angels of Assisi stepped in.

Thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant, Benny received not only his vaccinations, but a full wellness check, arthritis support and, soon, a much-needed dental procedure—all at no cost to his mom. And when he returned home that afternoon, he ran straight into her arms, proud of himself and happy to be back where he belongs.
