    How Grey Muzzle Helped
    Medical Expense Grant

Blueberry found herself at the Leon County Humane Society (LCHS) at the age of eight because her owner could no longer care for her. She had been diagnosed with pyometra (uterine infection) and required an immediate spay surgery and medications to save her life. Blueberry also needed a dental cleaning and several tooth extractions as some rotten teeth had caused a painful infection in her mouth.

Thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, the caring staff at LCHS were able to provide Blueberry with all the medical and dental attention she had been missing out on. And, thanks to the advocacy of her devoted foster mom, lucky little Blueberry didn't even make it onto the LCHS website before she had a forever home waiting for her.

You can give more senior dogs like Blueberry all the care they desperately need.
