Beauregard is a sweet, completely blind and deaf Shih Tzu. He was transferred to Pawmetto Lifeline and arrived matted, hungry, wet and freezing. This poor 17-year-old boy had been through a lot!
Pawmetto Lifeline jumped into action, providing Beauregard the care he desperately needed, thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant. Despite his condition, his bloodwork came back looking pretty good.
As you can imagine, Beauregard was initially quite scared and confused from being blind and deaf in addition to bouncing around so much. He spent a couple of months in a loving foster home to help relax, have some consistency and get his bearings. Beauregard has settled and now feels safe. He is looking for his perfect forever home!
