Amber
Amber has been her owner’s therapy dog for her entire life. She has always been there for her person, and even helped her mom stay sober for eight years.
When Amber ripped a tendon in her knee, she needed surgery to repair it. Due to an unexpected loss in her family, Amber’s mom needed financial assistance to help pay for her surgery. That's when the eight-year-old red heeler and her mom turned to the Humane Society of Western Montana for help.
With the help of a Grey Muzzle grant, Amber was able to have her surgery and recover. Amber and her owner are still together and so grateful for the help they received from Grey Muzzle!
