Keeping Your Senior Dog Safe: Summertime Pet Safety Tips

Warmer weather, pesky insects and outdoor cook-outs are only a few of the things we need to ensure remain fun and not harmful to our older dogs. This webinar covers basic First Aid for bee stings and snake bites; how to cool your dog off from the paws up; water safety; and what to do should your dog experience an upset tummy or even choke during your barbecue. The presentation concluded with a salute to Pet Fire Safety Awareness Day discussing ways to prevent your older pal from causing a fire or becoming a statistic when the worst happens.
