VETS IN VANSFunded in 2025
Vets in Vans was created to help provide access to veterinary medicine for families who were either lacking in financial resources and/or transportation to reach a stand-alone clinic. Since opening the clinic in October of 2022, they now operate three full 10-hour days per week, and have treated 9,068 pets, 20% of dogs cared for are over the age of 7. Vets in Vans has completed 268 dental procedures to date, and with additional staffing, can now complete 4-6 dental surgeries per week.
This grant from Grey Muzzle will allow ViV to provide cleanings and extractions for 30 senior dogs. These subsidies will be offered to clients who cannot afford to pay ViV's discounted rates after all other options are exhausted, including payment plans. This way, older dogs can remain healthy and in the homes with the people who love them.
