River Region Animal Rescue (RRAR) is a volunteer and foster-based nonprofit located in Montgomery, Alabama. Our mission is to rescue and rehome neglected, abused, and abandoned animals, regardless of age, breed, or circumstance. We believe every animal has the potential to become a cherished companion, and we’re committed to helping them find their perfect match.

With support from Grey Muzzle, our Golden Paws Initiative connects senior dogs with senior adopters, creating lasting companionship while easing the financial burdens of pet ownership. This program helps older pets find loving homes and gives senior individuals the joy of a furry friend, a true win-win for both hearts and paws in Central Alabama.
