The Golden Bark FoundationFunded in 2025
The Golden Bark Foundation is a volunteer-run nonprofit based in Utah, founded in 2022 to ensure senior dogs are never forgotten. We rescue older dogs who are often passed over due to age or medical needs and provide them with love, patience, and dignity in their final chapter. Through our network of dedicated foster homes, we offer each dog a soft place to land and the chance to heal, emotionally and physically.
With help from Grey Muzzle, we’re expanding our dental care program, providing essential procedures for senior dogs suffering from painful dental disease. Since about 80% of our seniors arrive with dental issues, this funding will dramatically improve their comfort, health, and chances at adoption. It also allows us to rescue more senior dogs and help them find the loving retirement homes they deserve.
