FOAC is a small, non-profit, primarily volunteer organization that meets adoptable animals' medical and social needs. FOAC gives dogs in Northern California another chance at a better life. They relieve overcrowding at Tuolumne County Animal Control, promote the health of abused and abandoned animals, reduce unnecessary euthanasia, and help homeless dogs find permanent, loving homes.

Support from Grey Muzzle will allow Friends of the Animal Community (FOAC) to expand its Seniors for Seniors Program. This program provides free or low-cost adoption fees and covers medical costs when seniors adopt dogs like Charlie. A senior dog with medical needs, Charlie was abandoned in a rural area of Tuolumne County in Northern California. FOAC’s program covered the adoption fees and medical costs for Charlie. Now, he is living in comfort with someone that loves him.
