Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to making a profound difference in the lives of both animals and humans. Founded in 2014, our permanent operations are currently being built across plentiful acres of lush farmland and forest in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Our mission is to rescue animals who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, giving them comprehensive care as we work to find them loving homes. With a focus on empathy-building and pet therapy, we connect animals in need of refuge with children living in at-risk situations or under-resourced communities.
 

Our Seniors to Seniors Adoption Program will pair senior citizens with senior dogs, celebrating the impact of companionship and mutual support rooted in the shared experiences of aging. Through this initiative, Beautiful Together will waive our adoption donation and subsidize the normal costs of veterinary care, medication, and ongoing support by offering our vet services at our costs through a unique forever-foster-to-adopt agreement. This will dramatically lower the adopter's medical care expenses and lessen concerns about long-term issues.

We believe in the transformative power of the bond between seniors and senior dogs and how it can enrich the lives of both through emotional support and enhanced mental well-being. By removing financial barriers and facilitating meaningful connections, we aim to give senior dogs a second chance at a loving home while providing senior citizens with devoted companions who bring joy, comfort, and purpose to their lives.
