Two senior golden retriever mixes, nicknamed by Atlanta Lab Rescue as ‘the Golden Girls’, were picked up as strays in bad shape. Both had heartworms, which were causing underlying issues to worsen.
ALR named them Winnie and Robin. Winnie has a heart murmur; Robin has slow-growing cancer. Both girls were able to receive treatment, thanks to funding from Grey Muzzle, to help eliminate their heartworms and keep them comfortable in their foster home.

This special bonded pair will live out their days with love, thanks to you, and spend their retirement in a happy home.
