Beautiful Old Dogs, a loving tribute to our senior best friends, photography by Garry Gross

Grey Muzzle Included In Great New Read “Beautiful Old Dogs”

December 27, 2013

Beautiful Old Dogs: A Loving Tribute to Our Senior Best Friends” is several books in one magnificent package. “Beautiful Old Dogs” is a collection of photographs that reveal the souls of the subjects and their photographer, it’s a tribute to that photographer, Garry Gross  —who left this world in 2010—and it’s a memoir of owners reflecting on their four-legged family members. And “Beautiful Old Dogs” is also a reference source for those interested in the care and love of senior dogs.

Help Homeless Senior Dogs Rest Easy!

September 24, 2013

The Grey Muzzle Organization maintains a Bed Fund to provide orthopedic beds and cots to old dogs living in shelters, rescues, or sanctuaries. Many shelters do not have the resources to provide orthopedic beds so Grey Muzzle purchases the beds for the shelters, giving senior dogs a place of comfort off the cold, concrete floors.

Juniors for Seniors Photo Series Initiative

September 22, 2013

The Grey Muzzle Organization is collecting photos of children (of any age) and their senior dogs.  During the month of November we will feature these photos to share the special attachment between children and senior dogs with the public.  A picture is worth a thousand words, and we believe that these photos will open many minds to the joys of welcoming a senior dog into families of all shapes and sizes.

The Grey Muzzle Organization’s Bed Fund Aids 66 Homeless Senior Dogs

September 11, 2013

Imagine a senior dog in a shelter. At the time in life when they are most in need of love, care, and comfort, they instead find themselves living in a kennel. While many organizations try their best, resources are often limited and kennels are a difficult place for a senior dog to live.
