Peace of Mind Dog Rescue is dedicated to finding new loving homes for dogs whose guardians can no longer care for them due to illness, death, or other challenging circumstances, and to finding homes for senior dogs in animal shelters.
Lionel's Legacy
Lionel's Legacy is a 501c3 non-profit San Diego-based senior dog rescue and humane education program for elementary school children inspired by a senior pit mix named Lionel. It is their goal to save and advocate for ONE senior furbaby at a time, and support anyone who is willing to do the same.
Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Inc.
Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group, Inc. is dedicated to rescuing Labrador Retrievers and Labrador mixed breed dogs in Southern California and placing them in loving homes.
Founded in 2007, this all-volunteer group is comprised of experienced men and women who work passionately to save dogs from shelters and help dogs whose families can no longer provide for them.
Thulani Senior German Shepherd Rescue
Thulani Senior German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. (TSGSR) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing very old or terminally ill German Shepherd Dogs and mixed breed dogs from life-threatening situations. They accept shelter dogs and owner-surrender dogs from all of California, providing foster homes and medical treatment the dogs may have been lacking. Their efforts are critically needed as many shelters do not have the resources to provide in-depth care for large senior dogs, most of whom face uncertain futures as a result.
Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE)
The mission of the Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is to enhance and preserve the quality of life of animals by providing access to necessary medical care and education. Based on established criteria, FACE provides financial grants for pet owners who are unable to cover the cost of their ill/injured pet's emergency or critical veterinary care.
Canine Adoption and Rescue League
Canine Adoption and Rescue League’s mission is to advocate for animal welfare, seeking to end the needless deaths of companion animals through their adoption, education, and outreach programs.
