The Grey Muzzle Organization does not operate a rescue or adoption program. We provide grants to shelters and rescue organizations that care for senior dogs.

Grey Muzzle does not provide funding for individual dogs, even those currently in shelters/rescue organizations.
Our funding supports senior dog programs run by nonprofit shelters and rescues. You can learn more about our Grant Process and the types of programs we support to see if your organization aligns.
While we wish we could help promote every dog looking for a home, Grey Muzzle does not share individual courtesy posts or adoption listings outside of the dogs and organizations featured through our own programs and partnerships.
Because we receive many similar requests, we maintain a consistent policy regarding the content shared through our social media channels and communications.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and wish your senior dog(s) the very best in finding the right home.

Grey Muzzle is not a rescue or rehoming group. We are a nonprofit that provides grant funding to shelters and rescue organizations that support senior dogs, so unfortunately, we aren’t able to assist directly with rehoming.

You may also consider asking your veterinarian, local pet supply stores, or community groups if they can help share information about your dog with potential adopters.
If you choose to share your dog on Facebook or Craigslist, we recommend you meet with the interested adopters in person to verify they are a good fit for your dog.
