Helio is an awesome senior boy looking for a home where he will be spoiled! This sweet 7-year-old came to IndyHumane severely emaciated and with signs of kidney failure. A lot of laboratory work was done to determine if his condition was treatable, but it looks like it can be managed with prescription food and regular checkups. Helio is up to a healthy weight now and will thrive in a loving home. He's got a great personality, he loves attention and gives little love nibbles. He's spunky for being a bit older and loves to play with toys. Before he came to IndyHumane, Helio was an outside yard dog, and now he doesn't like being left alone outside for long periods of time. He deserves an awesome indoor-only home where he will get all the attention he desires and deserves! He is looking for a home where he can be the only pet.
