Sherman7 YRS
Do you want a hunk, a hunk of burning love in your life? Sweet Sherman, at 7 years young is your hunk of a loving dog! He was rescued from a field by one of our former adopters when a rancher was ready to shoot him for being on the property.
Sherman is slow to warm up, but treats will quickly do the trick. His gentle soul, affectionate nature, and eagerness to please will easily win over your heart. He loves to play—for a short time only, enjoys his toys, likes a game of fetch but does not want to relinquish the ball, is obedient, and rides well in a car. Sherman is crate and house-trained and walks well on a leash.
Sherman’s ideal home would be a quiet one in a cooler climate while preferring women to most men. He needs a quiet home with adults and no young children and will tolerate a cat. Sherman can be picky about his dog friends, too, as a female or a young, energetic dog companion will not work. He is on medication for his front club foot in order to play like the fun dog he yearns to be. Are you ready for a 60-pound lap dog? If so, Sherman should not be overlooked!
