Mikey8 YRS
Mikey is an 7-year-old Schnauzer mix. He came to PAWS as an owner surrender on 1/31/2022, adopted, then returned because his owners could no longer handle his severe allergies and medical conditions. Despite his medical conditions, he is very sweet and trusting. Unfortunately, Mikey gained a lot of weight when away from PAWS. We now have Mikey on a strict diet, including cucumber treats, which he loves) and of course making sure that he receives the correct amount of nutritional calories. Thanks to the Grey Muzzle grant, Mikey is receiving allergy medications and special diets. We couldn’t take in seniors and help them with their medical needs without the generosity and support of organizations like Grey Muzzle. Thank you Grey Muzzle for loving senior dogs!
