Meet Martha the Marvelous, a 45 pound love bug who has never met a person she didn’t like…alot. She lovingly greets everyone with an open heart and wagging tail and that includes the little ones too. Martha is comfortable around children, especially when they give her plenty of attention.
Her current foster family says she is very easy going. She loves to go for walks, is very easy on a leash and has demonstrated that she is not reactive when encountering other dogs, bikes, loud cars or other distractions. She is not a barker, but rather communicates with the best doggy eyes that will melt your heart.
Though comfortable with all humans, she would be best in a home where she is the only pet. She most often ignores other dogs as long as they mind their own business but can get a bit grumpy if they show her too much attention. She has not been cat tested.
Martha is located in Aldie, Virginia and is available for adoption from Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA). Martha is eligible for FOHA’s Senior Care Plan which waives the adoption fee and provides medical reimbursement for any future approved medical costs.
