Lexi9 YRS
This stunning lady is Lexi. She is tall and elegant, and as lovely in personality as she is in looks. Lexi came into our care with what the shelter believed was a mass on one of her knees. In fact, it turned out to be a proliferation of boney development and bone displacement due to a very old injury - a severely displaced kneecap, which, due to its specific nature, our vet does not believe can be repaired. Her other knee has a very old ligament injury which was never repaired and is now stabilized by arthritic changes. In foster care and with medical attention, Lexi has been gaining strength and has greatly improved her mobility. She now gets around very well! Lexi enjoys her boxer foster sibling, and they love to be silly together and to go on adventures. She has met children and cats and is a sweetheart to everyone! Lexi is a brilliant girl and learns very quickly. The newest thing she's working on, now that she's feeling so good, is restraining herself a bit on walks. She's just so full of enthusiasm for life and is so excited to be out in the world! Lexi would love to find her forever home with another dog and people who want to spend as much time with her as she wants to spend with them.
