I’m Gizmo and I am a sweet older gentleman who still has a few tricks up my sleeve. Don’t let my gray muzzle fool you, because I have plenty of pep left in my step. I enjoy walking in the woods, hanging out with my people friends and playing in the yard. I am careful to take treats gently and really love it when my friends pet me all over. A ride in the car is awesome too, and I might even sneak in a few kisses when you least expect them!
Although I do my best to be brave, thunderstorms frighten me. My new family needs to have an extra measure of patience, understanding and maybe even a special place where I can feel safe and comforted during these scary times.
I have met a cat and I am not a fan! A cat free home is a must. I can be selective of my dog friends so a slow introduction is needed with calmer dogs or a home with no dogs would be ideal.
Despite these ups and downs, I am so good looking, if I do say so myself, and will do my best to make my new family proud in every way.
