Cairo7 YRS
Cairo and 3 other chis have been with us since 8/23/22. We took in many from a partner municipal shelter that were part of a hoarding situation and lived with a significant number of other Chihuahuas. These dogs have been kept with more dogs than people. They are not house trained, some have shown different levels of fear-induced aggression towards people, do not walk on leashes and are not extremely tolerant of handling. We have adopted 8 of them, we still have these 4 in our care.
They will need homes with no small children, but would likely do well with older, respectful children. We also require them to go to a home with another social dog. We currently have them housed together, due to their previous situation, and do well with each other. Since they are seniors, they are fee waived.
