After losing his guardian, 10-year-old Oswald faced a tough road ahead. This sweet Shih Tzu arrived at Young at Heart Senior Pet Adoptions with a host of untreated health concerns—pneumonia, dental issues, partial deafness, blindness, and more. His future looked uncertain, but thanks to the incredible support of our grantees and donors, Oswald's story took a heartwarming turn.
A Grey Muzzle grant enabled Young at Heart to step in and provide the life-saving care and medications he needed to return to health. Oswald was even treated to a much-deserved spa day, complete with a bubble bath and haircut!
Today, Oswald is a picture of resilience—healthy, happy, and ready to embrace a brand-new chapter. He loves playing with toys, taking cozy naps on the couch, and basking in the glow of his second chance at life.
