With her soulful eyes and gentle spirit, Martha Von Hippo captured hearts the moment she arrived at Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester—she just needed a little extra care to find her perfect match.
When this sweet 9-year-old Pittie-potamus arrived at Lollypop Farm from a neighboring animal control, she was in need of extensive veterinary care. Thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant, Martha Von Hippo received essential treatment—including dental extractions, wound repair, spay surgery, mass removal, and care for her hip dysplasia and arthritis—ensuring she could heal and find the loving home she deserved.
And that’s exactly what happened! Anna, her adopter, had her heart set on Martha from the moment she saw her online. Now, this once-heartbroken sweetheart is soaking up all the love and companionship she could ever want.
