Sweet Maggie Mae was found injured on the side of the road in Georgia. She had a broken leg and her back was obviously hurt, so animal control figured she was probably struck by a car.

This adorable eight-year-old Beagle arrived at Paws Humane Society where she immediately received surgery, thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant. She recovered in the clinic until she was well enough to enter foster care.

Maggie Mae is currently in a loving foster home--a family who cherishes her and is equipped to handle her special physical and emotional needs as she continues to heal. Her foster family will officially adopt her soon, which is a huge blessing. This girl has been through so much uncertainty. Paws and all of us at Grey Muzzle are happy her future will be constant.
