Legacy
Recently, funds from a Grey Muzzle grant helped a beautiful senior dog named Legacy who was found to have 'dry eye' in both eyes, needed dental work, and suffered from cardiomyopathy. Given her symptoms and condition, the Animal Protective Foundation veterinary team made the decision to place her into a hospice home to live out the remainder of her days.
Thanks to Grey Muzzle, and to you, Legacy got the medical attention she needed. She was recently adopted by John and Beth, who are both retired hospice caregivers for humans. They really understand Legacy’s need for compassionate care.
