Harley

Harley came into the care of Nevada Humane Society (NHS) as a rescue from the local shelter, Washoe County Regional Animal Services. He is a sweet, 13-year-old Terrier mix who was diagnosed as having Stage 4 dental disease by the NHS medical team.

Thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant for dental care, made possible by your Summer Smile donations, Harley received a necessary surgery in December to extract several rotten teeth. He has been recuperating in foster care with his doggie sibling Max and is feeling much better!

Harley and Max are a special pair that do everything together, from sharing meals to napping to play time. Harley is a lucky dog because he is being adopted by his foster family, once he’s fully recovered, along with Max.
