Gilley
Precious Gilley was pulled from the Giles County, Tennessee Animal Control by Grey Muzzle grantee organization Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue. She was in terrible shape--bloodied, painful skin and nails so overgrown it was difficult for her to walk. We don't know all of what poor Gilley endured, but a Grey Muzzle grant to provide for senior rescues allowed Proverbs 12:10 to rescue this mostly deaf, mostly blind hospice girl and allow her to experience love and comfort--perhaps for the very first time--for her remaining days. Her loving caretakers now ensure she always has gentle pets, a full tummy, and a soft bed on which to lay her head.
Her foster mom says, "I don't know about the quantity of days that God has in store for either of us; I do know Gilley will leave feeling she was a princess to me and had quality time."
Our Grey Muzzle Organization donors make possible happy endings like Gilley's. Thank you so much to all of our supporters, who help us bring light to the lives of even the most neglected dogs in their golden years.
