Faye
Sweet, ten-year-old Faye found herself at the shelter after her elderly owner fell ill and went into a nursing home. She was not doing well in the shelter environment, so thankfully, ended up in the care of our first-time grantee Get A Bull, Inc.
After a veterinary workup, it was determined that Faye is deaf, though you'd never know it, and also in early stage kidney disease, so she'll have to remain on a prescription diet for the rest of her life. Thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant to support the Forever Foster program, Faye's ongoing specialty food and medical care will be covered for life.
Faye is a very loving, sweet companion who is still in search of her forever retirement home. She enjoys resting in her crate (by choice!) and chewing on bones. She would do best as the only dog in the household. This beautiful girl is available to go home with an approved adopter in the Northeast US. For more information on Faye, click here.
