It’s no secret that the aging process in humans can often lead to sometimes unexpected neurological changes within our bodies. What is less commonly known is that these neurologic changes are also seen in our senior canine companions. In this lecture Dr. Cook shed some light on a few of the most common neurological disorders and concerns seen in our older patients, including cognitive dysfunction, mobility issues, vestibular events, seizures and more. We discussed how these issues present, when to contact your veterinarian, and what we can do to help our beloved pets as they go through these changes.
