Odin

Odin

in memory of

Odin

Odin was the sweetest, happiest and gentlest of dogs for 13 years. Even towards the end, when he had difficulty walking and seeing, he continued to be our source of joy. It was the hardest thing we’ve ever done to let you go, but we know you are still here with us and always in our hearts

Torrie

in memory of

Torrie

How do I describe Torrie? My best friend, an overused tag but one that said who he was. He made sure that he would be near me. When the other dogs ran to the kitchen at dinner time, he would follow them but circle back to wait for me. He sat with me when I stayed up late studying. He was by my feet when I worked. Until cancer robbed him of his strength, he slept above my head each night in bed. Then, I joined him in his bed on the floor until his last days. We called him “the best all around dog.” He played with and mentored our new lab puppy. He comforted and supported our fearful shelter adopted dog, walking alongside her on walks, reassuring her that she was safe. Sorting through his photos and writing this tribute 1 year after his passing, my heart aches and my tears flow easily. We support the Grey Muzzle Organization because we experienced how precious a dog’s seniors years are for their family and for them. The Grey Muzzle Organization brings dignity, peace, love and joy to the little ones in the last years.

Oliver

Oliver

For 14 wonderful years, Oliver brought endless joy and love to his moms, Vicki and Karen. Rescued into their arms, he repaid them with a lifetime of snuggles, loyalty, and comfort. Whether curled up on the couch or on camping trips, Oliver’s gentle soul touched everyone around him. More than a dog, Oliver was family—a symbol of love, resilience, and the beauty of second chances. Though he’s no longer by their side, his memory will forever live in their hearts. Rest easy, sweet Oliver. You will always be loved.

Cubby

Our precious Cubby has crossed the rainbow bridge. Dr. Walsh has been his veterinarian for over 8 years. She has provided the best veterinary care and during this past year recommended Librela for his arthritis. We had our Cubby back – running- walking – happy. We enjoyed the last year’s of his 16-1/2 years on earth. Now he is with all his foster friends we had over the years. Miss him terribly – but I am so happy he had the best veterinary care possible. Love you, Dr. Walsh and your staff.

Mrs. Pants

Mrs. Pants – This beautiful dog came into our lives in 2009. We adopted her from a local shelter and as you can imagine, she brought such joy into our lives. She had the typical Shih-tzu personality, all sass without a care in the world. In those 15 years, I am certain that she received 12,789,759,328,734 million kisses from me alone. We just loved her; she made our family complete and will never be forgotten.

Shadow

We knew Shadow her entire life, and not a day went by that she wasn’t loved deeply. She was always around us as snuggling or just watching us calmly and happily. She did once steal a chicken finger off a stranger’s plate when we took her to a bar patio, but she didn’t mean it 🙂 She is remembered and thought about every day by us, our family, our friends, and even people that only met her a few times and she passed away peacefully at home, covered in our tears and hugs. She knew she was loved.
