Voice of Animal NepalFunded in 2024
Founded in 2016, Voice of Animal Nepal aims to provide shelter and care for the sick and injured street dogs in Nepal. They provide medical treatment to street animals, run a dog population management (spay & neuter) program, vaccinate dogs against rabies, and host awareness programs on rabies prevention and the needs of animals living on the streets.
A Grey Muzzle grant will provide essential veterinary care for senior dogs like Khairu. Voice of Animal Nepal rescued Khairu from Anam Nagar, Kathmandu. He suffered an eye injury when a resident struck him with a thick stick. Upon receiving the community’s urgent call, their team promptly arrived at the scene. After initial screening and first aid, they transported Khairu to their clinic and shelter for further treatment. He is now under the close supervision of their veterinarians and will remain so until he is fully recovered.
