Save Our Strays Animal Shelter, based in Enterprise, Alabama, provides a safe haven for abandoned and homeless animals while actively educating the community on responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering, and compassionate care. Our work reaches beyond rescue—we aim to build a more informed and humane community, one pet at a time.
With the generous support of Grey Muzzle, we’re expanding our efforts to support senior dogs and the families who love them. This grant will help us reduce surrenders due to financial hardship, improve adoption rates, and cut down the length of shelter stays for senior pups. By offering medical care, outreach, and specialised senior dog programs, we’re giving more senior dogs the chance to stay in loving homes—or find new ones—where they can enjoy their golden years with comfort and dignity.
