Seattle HumaneFunded in 2019 and 2023
Founded in 1897, Seattle Humane proudly promotes the human-animal bond by saving and serving pets in need. They are one of the region’s leaders in animal adoption, education, and welfare. As a community resource center, Seattle Humane facilitates adoptions, operates a pet food bank, supports pet owners, offers low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and wellness exams, and provides humane education for all ages. Through outreach, advocacy, and services, they strive to ensure that animal companionship is accessible to all.
A Grey Muzzle grant will help Seattle Humane provide dental care to senior dogs like Nibblets, supporting them on their journey to loving families. Shortly after his procedure and additional medical work, Nibblets found a loving family to call his own and is now settling into his new life with a pain-free mouth.
