Rain or Shine RescueFunded in 2025
Rain or Shine Rescue was founded in 2022, inspired by one special senior pup named Bessie. Based in New York, our mission is to give senior and medically fragile dogs the chance to thrive, no matter their age or condition. Through a loving foster network, we provide individualized care and match these deserving dogs with families who are ready to love them for life, however long that may be.
With support from Grey Muzzle, our Bessie’s Legacy program will provide critical medical care for at least 20 more senior dogs this year. These sweet pups often arrive with untreated conditions and need everything from dental work and daily meds to emergency surgeries and special diets. This grant ensures that no senior is turned away because of cost, giving them the comfort, care, and joy they deserve in their golden years.
