    Location

Noah’s Animal House Foundation welcomes the pets of victims of domestic violence fleeing dangerous homes. The pets receive everything from emergency medical care to special food and orthopedic beds. Every pet stays as long as needed while their family lives next door in the domestic violence services shelter. The families come in daily to snuggle, play, heal, and share unconditional love with their pets during visits to the “cuddle rooms.” Noah’s staff care for these precious pets while the families seek jobs and a new home, receive medical care, and work toward their goals. Noah’s Animal House serves pets in its Las Vegas and Reno facilities in partnership with domestic violence shelter providers.

The beloved pets that arrive at Noah's Animal House are warmly welcomed at one of two facilities in Nevada. They offer boarding, feeding, medical assessments, and ongoing medical care in Las Vegas and Reno. These services are provided as long as the family receives survivor services from one of their partner agencies. Thanks to the Grey Muzzle grant, they can meet every senior dog’s medical needs. The grant will help dogs like 13-year-old Marlon, whose person is in special housing, recuperating from a recent amputation.
