    Founded in 1999, MidAmerica Rottweiler Rescue is a foster-based network serving nine states across the Midwest. We partner with shelters, rescues, and private owners to advocate for and rehome Rottweilers in need, with a special place in our hearts for seniors.

    With help from Grey Muzzle, we’re boosting senior Rottweiler adoptions by 12% in 2025-2026. Each senior adopted will come with a $1,100 medical and dental stipend to support their health and ease the transition into a loving home. Dogs like Snickers, who spent her final months surrounded by love, show just how much this support means. Thanks to this grant, more seniors will get their second chance—and the comfort they so deeply deserve.
